A boy was arrested Yesterday (Thursday 29 August) after he was spotted on CCTV taking part in a suspected drugs deal in Bankcroft Gardens.

Officers on patrol in Stratford responded and arrested the boy in Waterside, seizing quantities of what they believe to be heroin and cocaine.

The 17-year-old from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

He was later released pending further enquiries after he had been questioned by police.
